Our Minibest Hunt
We had a fantastic minibeast hunt in the school grounds. We found some interesting and unusual minibeasts. Group A found a large hornet sitting under the branch of a tree and Group B found two very large millipedes. One was curled up in a ball and the other was coming out of a hole.
We also saw spiders, ants, butterflies, flies and snails. We saw lots and lots of eaten leaves but we could not find any of the caterpillars that had eaten the leaves.
We have been learning about the habitats of different minibeasts and we looked at lots of different habitats during our minibeast hunt.
