Here is our shadow puppet myth story but with no voices, just sound effects. Why not watch the video and try to speak over it with your own ideas and stories! This is called a 'voice over.'

Explain a Life Cycle
We've been learning about minibeast life cycles and looking at dragonflies, butterflies and frogs. We had to put together sentence openers like "first, next, then, after that and finally" with parts of sentences about life cycles. Then we learnt them off by heart and presented them to the whole class as a way to explain the lifecycle of a butterfly. Here are videos of the Beetles and Grasshopper groups who did the best presentations. Well done to everyone for learning your explanation sentences!

The Beauty of Pollination
We watched this video in class today and at the end of it some of the children started to clap! I thought I would put it on the blog so you can watch it again! We were learning about pollination, which is when insects (and birds and bats!) move pollen from flower to flower to help them make new flowers. We also learnt how flowers attract insects with their bright colours, beautiful smell and sugary nectar!

Here is a short video I made about how to leave a comment on Teacher Paul's blog.
Comments may not appear until the next day but don't let that stop you!
I am looking forward to reading some of your comments.
